I've been wearing headband headphones to sleep for years, now. My last set of Acoustic Sheep lasted about 4 years (they still work but have definitely seen better days). After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give Dormi a try. The headband is very comfortable and the sound quality is good (although I only listen to audiobooks). The battery lasts several nights; I especially like how these tell you the battery percentage (unlike my last pair).
I have two quasi-complaints, though. The first is that the headphones are very loud. Even at the lowest level, the sound is almost too much for sleep. The second is the flashing light that blinks continuously when the headphones are on. It lights up the entire room and bothers my partner. I've had to wrap them in cloth.
Not a complaint, but it'd be nice if there was a soundclip when the headphones connect or turn off.
Overall, I'm quite happy with these and would strongly recommend them.

I've been using this for a week now and I have to say that I love it. I normally listen to music or some asmr at night so I can sleep since my brain has a tendency to not shutoff, but I got these so that I'm not disturbing other people in my house if I put the sound a bit too high on my laptop. The only complaint I have is with the controls. For me, the control panel is fairly uncomfortable, as it presses a hard surface into my forehead. Although, I will say that it does go away after sometime, but there were a few nights where it just irritated me to the point of taking off the headband. I tried turning it around, as another reviewer suggested, but with the way I lay my head I unintentionally turn off the headband when I do that. I'm planing on adding some material behind the control panel so that I can A) get rid of that hard surface and B) also use the headband as an eye-mask.
TLDR: Works great, control panel is a bit annoying, that's about it.

Ever since my fiance started snoring I've had a hard time falling asleep. I hate wearing ear plugs so I was looking for an alternative when I stumbled on Dormi. Now the head set isn't noise canceling so I can still hear some snoring but being able to listen to music or a podcast while I fall asleep is plenty enough distraction. Now I fall asleep even quicker than I did previously. I'm recommending Dormi to all my friends and family.

3 stars because I had my eye on these for such a long time, and when I finally came around to ordering them they were sold out in the color I wanted (heather grey) so I bought them in burgundy. Still nice but I wish they would carry more quantities of heather grey and black since those seem to be the most popular colors.

The timing of it was almost a little eerie but I have no regrets buying these. They're a little small for my large sized head but I think they will stretch over time.

Love these. So long have I been frustrated with other styles of headphones when I sleep and wake up with sore ears. No more with these. They are so comfortable and the band itself if soft and stretchy.
Now that I have read more reviews I will try to put the controller on the back so I don't feel the pressure of the control pad on my forehead because the awesome thing I do is put the band over my eyes as an eye mask which saves me from using a separate mask to sleep. It works so well. The flashing blue light is rather irritating but my partner doesn't seem to notice .

Super comfortable! I've owned a few other sets of sleep headphones in the past, all of which were much more expensive...and none of them can match the comfort, quality, or thoughtfulness that were put into the creation of these sleep headphones! The fabric is breathable and light, so they don't make me sweat or feel warm (an issue I've had with fleece versions of sleep headphones). As a side sleeper, I barely notice these against my ears and they can be worn for a long time without discomfort. The sound quality is really great for such low profile speakers, too! As others have also pointed out, the blinking blue light when they are in use is really piercing and bright. I've covered it with a small patch of electrical tape to block it out (as you can see in my pic) to solve that issue. Other than that, I LOVE THEM!

the shiz nit of sleep jawns! no earbud ear infections! actual volume! WASTED money on similar stuff w no volume, poorly made, or worked at bedtime broke in the morning. Dormi is really wonderful. since I started sleeping w music eg on headphones I can sleep ANYWHERE. - plane, music festival, weird hotel. ear buds give me ear infections. pillow speakers are stranglers. Dormi works for me.

I also wish it didnt leave a blinking light that sometimes wakes me when I fall asleep with it on.
I like that I no longer lose my headphones and that I can walk and run without them falling out.

I got this to replace another well known brand headband headphones that kept breaking on me. I was tired of replacing their parts! Overall I like it quite a bit, the little control housing is nice and easy to use. I like that you don’t have to remove the battery to charge it (you did with the other brand.) it also is comfy and comes in cute colours!
My one dislike is I wish it came in more sizes as it feels ever so slightly big on me. I’m hoping it doesn’t stretch out too much.

I just updraded to the Dream headphones after using the originals for about a year. These are the differences I noticed right away:
- Sound quality is significantly better
- More comfortable on the ears
- Thinner and smaller, which I like a lot as far as how it looks. These are more snug on me but not to an uncomfortable degree, the originals were *almost* too big for me. If you have a big head + lots of hair the originals might be a better option; if your head is small you should go for the Dream.
- Controls are now in the front, which I'm honestly not a huge fan of aesthetically but I assume they were moved off the ears for comfort reasons. I'd prefer them in the back but these can't be worn backwards due to the placement of the headphones.
Upon closer inspection the Dreams also seem to be a bit softer but that could just be because my originals are more worn in. Even though I just got these I've already pre-ordered another pair in burgundy! Safe to say I'm hooked. Highly recommend this brand for anyone looking for comfortable headphones!

I struggle to fall asleep at night and tried listening to sleep meditations or frequencies with my phone nearby, but it was always hard to hear & a hassle.
Since I have these they've been perfect for that purpose as well as to workout with because for me, they don't slip and slide like other headphones or ear buds!
I don't fall asleep with them on but they are perfect to lay with temporarily, get comfy, and allow my body to fall into a sleep state. I'm definitely a fan!! :)

I purchased one pair for myself and one for my partner as a post-surgery gift. He said out of all the things we purchased for his recovery, dormi headphones have been his favorite! They’re extremely comfy and have great sound. They allowed him to fall asleep much more easily when he was in quite a bit of pain! He said it actually made him look forward to going to sleep when he wasn’t sure he could because of his discomfort. Can’t put a price tag on that!!
Personally I use these to fall asleep to sleep meditations and I find them really easy to use and comfortable. Usually it takes me awhile to fall asleep but with these and a meditation on I am out in about 10 minutes! I also use them on my walks in the Chicago winters, as normal earbuds fall out of my ears very easily when it’s cold out.
I am only knocking one star because we both feel that the light on the controls is much too bright. We’re both sensitive to light when we sleep so we’re not big fans of the flashing light in the dark. We easily fixed it by putting a piece of black duck tape over the light and it’s not even noticeable now, so it’s really not an issue, but you may consider only using the light for charging and turning it on and off for future headbands. :) I don’t know that it serves a lot of purpose blinking when in use!
Overall, love these and haven’t seen anything similar on the market.

My ears are pretty sensitive to being pressed down, but these are so far just right, better than other similar products I've used. I have two complaints. The flashing bright blue light is awful. I'm not sure what purpose it serves besides showing it's on, but it lights up the entire wall when it does it. A bit distracting for sleep headphones. The second issue is the remote box on the forehead, it's awfully hard. I tried to turn it around like another review had said but unfortunately doing that shines the blue light right in my husbands face, plus, the ear pieces aren't really in the right place for that. But, they serve their purpose, I'll just be putting a sticker over the light asap!

I’ve gone through several different kinds of sleep headphones over the past few years and I was really excited to try Dormi. There’s a lot to like about these headphones, but they’re not perfect yet.
Pros:
- very comfortable speaker design
- good controls and great placement.
- sturdy charging port
Cons:
- the band is too loose on my head and the fabric is very slippery so it’s really difficult to keep them in place
- the controls have a blue light that blinks the entire time the headphones are on.
Basically, the tech is great but the headband doesn’t quite work for me. Overall, these are still the best sleep headphones I’ve used.

I seriously love these! I bought them in black and heather grey so I can always have a pair to use when the other is in the wash. The thin speakers are super comfortable for sleeping in, my only critique is the two headbands are different sizes! The black one fits a little tighter than the grey, but its also more elastic so I guess it evens out.

Ever since discovering Dormi I have to be honest and say that my life completely changed. I pretty much live in my Dormis and use them to sleep, farm, workout, and cycle in! I was one of the first people to try this new version of their headphones but wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review so I could really give the headphones a good try first. So for starters the setup is a little different from the original headphones, the buttons are all on the front of the headband rather than on the right ear which makes them more comfortable for sleeping if you're a side sleeper like me. One downside though is the control panel does make them a bit tighter so if you have a big head like me these might be snug on you. But I know they upgraded the speakers on these because the sound quality is to die for. I thought the sound on the other ones was good but these blow the originals completely out of the water. Overall I give these 5/5 stars - great product, really nice customer service, and the owner is really sweet!

I am a long time headband headphone wearer. I have owned multiple pairs of wired and wireless Acoustic Sheep SleepPhones and Cozy Phones, too. I am also a music nerd so I am almost always listening to something and expect good sound quality. I was excited to try these.
They came nicely packaged and charged quickly out of the box! The headband is comfortable, breathable, and
stays put which is also great!
I have to give 4 stars and echo the other review that mentioned the controls. I do love that the controls are a small ish square inch of plastic with simple user friendly buttons. Another nice add is the button hole where you can access the charging port without taking the controls out. But that square of plastic is designed to sit on your forehead. That immediately took away from the comfort.
However, I found a simple work around. I turned the headband around so the controls are now on the back of my head! NOW they are the most comfortable headband headphones to date! But then there was a secondary problem. The left speaker was now to the right and the right speaker to the left. Remember the part where I listen to lots of music? Yeah. Couldn't leave that alone. If that's a non-issue to you then you can let it be.
This is where I learned these designers were very thoughtful and it is appreciated. The right speaker is on a significantly shorter wire and the headband is stitched in a way that it's easy to feed the wires in and have everything sit where it should tp stay put. For me this also meant I had to creatively work around to get the right speaker to my right ear and left to left with the controls to the back and not the front.
Finally sound is great! Still lets in ambient background noise (a must with a toddler in the house) but nice clear full range sound!
For a newer product I'm sure still taking feedback they're off to a great start! I'll be curious to see how they hold up long term as that's where others have let me down.
All this said very good impressions to start between shopping, shipping, unboxing and first impressions! Keep it up!

I had shopped with Dormi before and bought their Original headphones. They were great for daily use but the speakers were too hard for sleeping in. I decided to give these a try and I'm SO glad I did, they're now part of my nightly routine and help me sleep better than I ever have without them. Thank you Dormi!

I generally speaking quite like these headphones. The material is light and not too warm and overall very comfy.
There are a couple of things to be aware of though:
- these fit a little tighter than the regular dormi headphones. The control system/battery sits on your forehead and due to the blocky shape and the tighter headband, I now have a perpetual bruise on my forehead
- the fit of where the earphones sit on your ears and in the headband could be better. They’re slightly off to where my ears are and in order to get them to cover my ears, the headband has to half-cover my eyes. I wish it was a little bit looser and more adjustable :)
Otherwise it’s great though, it’s my nightly nighttime companion.

I got this to replace another well known brand headband headphones that kept breaking on me. I was tired of replacing their parts! Overall I like it quite a bit, the little control housing is nice and easy to use. I like that you don’t have to remove the battery to charge it (you did with the other brand.) it also is comfy and comes in cute colours!
My one dislike is I wish it came in more sizes as it feels ever so slightly big on me. I’m hoping it doesn’t stretch out too much.

These ones are my favorite. I have a big head and they aren't too snug or too loose (rarely a problem for me lol) and the speaker quality is some of the best I've ever heard. The bass is good and the clarity is better than I expected. Overall very happy with these.

I just updraded to the Dream headphones after using the originals for about a year. These are the differences I noticed right away:
- Sound quality is significantly better
- More comfortable on the ears
- Thinner and smaller, which I like a lot as far as how it looks. These are more snug on me but not to an uncomfortable degree, the originals were *almost* too big for me. If you have a big head + lots of hair the originals might be a better option; if your head is small you should go for the Dream.
- Controls are now in the front, which I'm honestly not a huge fan of aesthetically but I assume they were moved off the ears for comfort reasons. I'd prefer them in the back but these can't be worn backwards due to the placement of the headphones.
Upon closer inspection the Dreams also seem to be a bit softer but that could just be because my originals are more worn in. Even though I just got these I've already pre-ordered another pair in burgundy! Safe to say I'm hooked. Highly recommend this brand for anyone looking for comfortable headphones!

I struggle to fall asleep at night and tried listening to sleep meditations or frequencies with my phone nearby, but it was always hard to hear & a hassle.
Since I have these they've been perfect for that purpose as well as to workout with because for me, they don't slip and slide like other headphones or ear buds!
I don't fall asleep with them on but they are perfect to lay with temporarily, get comfy, and allow my body to fall into a sleep state. I'm definitely a fan!! :)

I purchased one pair for myself and one for my partner as a post-surgery gift. He said out of all the things we purchased for his recovery, dormi headphones have been his favorite! They’re extremely comfy and have great sound. They allowed him to fall asleep much more easily when he was in quite a bit of pain! He said it actually made him look forward to going to sleep when he wasn’t sure he could because of his discomfort. Can’t put a price tag on that!!
Personally I use these to fall asleep to sleep meditations and I find them really easy to use and comfortable. Usually it takes me awhile to fall asleep but with these and a meditation on I am out in about 10 minutes! I also use them on my walks in the Chicago winters, as normal earbuds fall out of my ears very easily when it’s cold out.
I am only knocking one star because we both feel that the light on the controls is much too bright. We’re both sensitive to light when we sleep so we’re not big fans of the flashing light in the dark. We easily fixed it by putting a piece of black duck tape over the light and it’s not even noticeable now, so it’s really not an issue, but you may consider only using the light for charging and turning it on and off for future headbands. :) I don’t know that it serves a lot of purpose blinking when in use!
Overall, love these and haven’t seen anything similar on the market.

My ears are pretty sensitive to being pressed down, but these are so far just right, better than other similar products I've used. I have two complaints. The flashing bright blue light is awful. I'm not sure what purpose it serves besides showing it's on, but it lights up the entire wall when it does it. A bit distracting for sleep headphones. The second issue is the remote box on the forehead, it's awfully hard. I tried to turn it around like another review had said but unfortunately doing that shines the blue light right in my husbands face, plus, the ear pieces aren't really in the right place for that. But, they serve their purpose, I'll just be putting a sticker over the light asap!

I’ve gone through several different kinds of sleep headphones over the past few years and I was really excited to try Dormi. There’s a lot to like about these headphones, but they’re not perfect yet.
Pros:
- very comfortable speaker design
- good controls and great placement.
- sturdy charging port
Cons:
- the band is too loose on my head and the fabric is very slippery so it’s really difficult to keep them in place
- the controls have a blue light that blinks the entire time the headphones are on.
Basically, the tech is great but the headband doesn’t quite work for me. Overall, these are still the best sleep headphones I’ve used.

I love these headphones! They fit me nice and snugly and are actually way more comfortable than I expected. The earpieces are thinner than the original ones so they lie flat against my ears instead of sticking out. Also I like the fit of this band better. Really glad i got these!

I seriously love these! I bought them in black and heather grey so I can always have a pair to use when the other is in the wash. The thin speakers are super comfortable for sleeping in, my only critique is the two headbands are different sizes! The black one fits a little tighter than the grey, but its also more elastic so I guess it evens out.

i won these in an Instagram giveaway and i absolutely adore them! i live in Texas and they hold up really well against the heat, i can use them for runs but also i don't overheat when sleeping. can't wait for more colors and sizes so I can buy a pair for my daughter!

Ever since discovering Dormi I have to be honest and say that my life completely changed. I pretty much live in my Dormis and use them to sleep, farm, workout, and cycle in! I was one of the first people to try this new version of their headphones but wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review so I could really give the headphones a good try first. So for starters the setup is a little different from the original headphones, the buttons are all on the front of the headband rather than on the right ear which makes them more comfortable for sleeping if you're a side sleeper like me. One downside though is the control panel does make them a bit tighter so if you have a big head like me these might be snug on you. But I know they upgraded the speakers on these because the sound quality is to die for. I thought the sound on the other ones was good but these blow the originals completely out of the water. Overall I give these 5/5 stars - great product, really nice customer service, and the owner is really sweet!

I am a long time headband headphone wearer. I have owned multiple pairs of wired and wireless Acoustic Sheep SleepPhones and Cozy Phones, too. I am also a music nerd so I am almost always listening to something and expect good sound quality. I was excited to try these.
They came nicely packaged and charged quickly out of the box! The headband is comfortable, breathable, and
stays put which is also great!
I have to give 4 stars and echo the other review that mentioned the controls. I do love that the controls are a small ish square inch of plastic with simple user friendly buttons. Another nice add is the button hole where you can access the charging port without taking the controls out. But that square of plastic is designed to sit on your forehead. That immediately took away from the comfort.
However, I found a simple work around. I turned the headband around so the controls are now on the back of my head! NOW they are the most comfortable headband headphones to date! But then there was a secondary problem. The left speaker was now to the right and the right speaker to the left. Remember the part where I listen to lots of music? Yeah. Couldn't leave that alone. If that's a non-issue to you then you can let it be.
This is where I learned these designers were very thoughtful and it is appreciated. The right speaker is on a significantly shorter wire and the headband is stitched in a way that it's easy to feed the wires in and have everything sit where it should tp stay put. For me this also meant I had to creatively work around to get the right speaker to my right ear and left to left with the controls to the back and not the front.
Finally sound is great! Still lets in ambient background noise (a must with a toddler in the house) but nice clear full range sound!
For a newer product I'm sure still taking feedback they're off to a great start! I'll be curious to see how they hold up long term as that's where others have let me down.
All this said very good impressions to start between shopping, shipping, unboxing and first impressions! Keep it up!

I had shopped with Dormi before and bought their Original headphones. They were great for daily use but the speakers were too hard for sleeping in. I decided to give these a try and I'm SO glad I did, they're now part of my nightly routine and help me sleep better than I ever have without them. Thank you Dormi!

I generally speaking quite like these headphones. The material is light and not too warm and overall very comfy.
There are a couple of things to be aware of though:
- these fit a little tighter than the regular dormi headphones. The control system/battery sits on your forehead and due to the blocky shape and the tighter headband, I now have a perpetual bruise on my forehead
- the fit of where the earphones sit on your ears and in the headband could be better. They’re slightly off to where my ears are and in order to get them to cover my ears, the headband has to half-cover my eyes. I wish it was a little bit looser and more adjustable :)
Otherwise it’s great though, it’s my nightly nighttime companion.
